Firestone General Manager Reaching Out to Family family member of Paul Rupel

Hello from Liberia,

I am trying to make contact with a family member of Paul Rupel who was a principal at BWI in the late 30s, early 40s. I’ve run across photos of him and who is, I suppose, his son in some historical archives we have. Wondered if you had any contact information.

Thank you for your time.

JOHN WAITEE CHEA

BWI Class of 1971

Sunrise:  May 18, 1950 - Sunset: August 24, 2019

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that the Chea, Kemah, Nimley, Mombo, Jones, and the Georgia Chapter-BWIAANA , families regret to announce the home-going of their beloved TIGER husband, father, brother, uncle, and nephew who was affectionately called “Junior”.

This sad event occurred on Saturday, August 24, 2019 in Georgia.

Tiger Chea Class of 1971, was born on May 18, 1950 in Margibi County to Bo Waite Chea and Ruth Kemah Jones.  He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his wife Agatha, his children: Telawo Obodo (Ben), Deddeh Chea, Jandi Harris (Oliver), Hetty Hudson (Richard), Maima Simmons (Marquez), Michael Chea (Maxlyn), and Veronica Chea; brothers and sisters: Ann Mombo (deceased), Veronica Chea Taylor (deceased), Harry Jones (deceased), Amelia Jones, Samuel Jones, Helena Jones, Ernest Jones, Molley Jones, Varney Moko Jones; grandchildren: Prince, Angie, Amina, Halleli, Haleima, Hadara, Ella, Reid, Demul, James, and Love; a host of relatives and friends in the United States and Liberia.

Tiger John  Chea was a frequent National Conventioneer and a staunch Chapter member. He regularly drove from Cobb County to attend BWI Meetings and functions. He was greatly admired  by his chapter members for his commitment and loyalty to the association. He will be missed for his hands on approach to every event and projects.  and and loved by many from far and near.

Rest in Peace Tiger Chea
